Best Wishes for a Safe & Enjoyable Independence Day

As our nation pauses to celebrate our country’s independence, the City of Madisonville wants to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Independence Day.

Please remember that City offices will be closed on Friday, July 3 in honor of the Independence Day holiday. All office will reopen on Monday, July 6th and operate under normal operational hours.
 

 

July 10th Friday Night Live

The 2nd installment of the 2009 Friday Night Live outdoor concert series, held in downtown Madisonville, will be on Friday, July 10th from 6 - 10 PM.

This event will feature local musical artist "PB&J" opening for the internationally acclaimed blues group "The Beat Daddys." Other planned activities include the MadCity Motorworks motorcycle show, racecar showcase, Chamber of Commerce Beer Garden, local vendors, an inflatable castle, and a "Chalk Zone.".....More Details

 

What is Madisonville doing about illicit discharge detection and elimination (IDDE)?

In July 2007, The City of Madisonville adopted an ordinance to establish an IDDE program including a provision for assessing civil penalties on viola-tors. Environmental Program personnel investigate illicit and improper disposals to the City stormwa-ter system.....More Details

Community Clean Up Day - Sponsored By Chamber of Commerce

The Madisonville Hopkins County Chamber will host a Clean-up Day at the Madisonville City Park on Saturday July 11 in an effort to help spruce up our community. So grab a friend and some work gloves and join the Chamber Staff as they seek to make a difference in the community.
