Message from Mayor Will Cox

The weather conditions in February have put a heavy burden on the citizens of Madisonville, Hopkins County, and neighboring counties.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who have suffered a loss.

As Mayor of the City of Madisonville I want to say thank you to all of the crews who have worked diligently to insure electricity is quickly restored, roadways are cleared of ice and snow, and hazardous limbs and debris are removed in a timely manner.

I am always appreciative of the effort put forth by the men and women who make up the workforce for the City of Madisonville, but in times such as these I am especially grateful for their expertise and teamwork.  I am honored to serve as your mayor.

Be safe!
