2007 Water Quality Report

The Madisonville Water Department consistently strives to provide water of high quality.  The Water Quality Report is a summary of the quality of water provided to our customers last year (2007).  Included in this report are details of where your water comes from, what it contains, and how it compares to standards set by regulatory agencies.  We are pleased to announce that we did not receive any violations in 2007 (Treated Water Quality Summary).

Battle of the Badges - 2nd Annual Paul Johnson Memorial Basketball Game

The City of Madisonville Fire Department "Waterbugs" will take on the City of Madisonville Police Department "Fuzz" on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 6 p.m.  The game will take place at the Madisonville North Hopkins High School and everyone is invited.....More Details

Tree Board Plans Arbor Day Ceremony

In recognition of Arbor Day, the Madisonville Tree Board is inviting the public to attend a tree planting ceremony at the Madisonville City Park on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 2 p.m.  The event will take place across the street from the park clubhouse, near the new disc golf course.  For more information contact info@madisonvillegov.com.

 

Tree Board Opportunities Available

The City of Madisonville is currently seeking individuals who are interested in serving on the Tree Board.  This is a volunteer board appointment and individuals who are interested should contact the Office of the Mayor at 824-2100 or email lcurneal@madisonvillegov.com.

 

Mark Your Calendar for State of the City & County Address

Mark your calendar now for the 2008 State of the City & County Address and Luncheon to be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church.  Doors will open at 11:30 a.m.  Ticket prices are currently being negotiated and the final details will be announced in early April.  To RSVP, call the Madisonville-Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce at 270-821-3435 or email c.commerce@newwavecomm.net.

Effective March 17, 2008 all bid advertisements for the City of Madisonville can be viewed via the City's website.  This user-friendly feature helps to insure that bid information is readily accessible to the public at anytime during a bidding process.  To view this new link, visit www.madisonvillegov.com and click on the "Bid Requests & Procurement" icon. 

City Certified as KY Main Street/Renaissance on Main Community
