The Kentucky Law Enforcement Basic Training Ceremony for Class #387 was held on December 7, 2007. The class consisted of 22 trainees representing communities throughout the state of Kentucky. Four of the trainees represented the Madisonville Police Department. (More Details)

C-Link Reception in Frankfort
The Madisonville-Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce together with 11 other chambers in ten Western Kentucky counties, is sponsoring a reception for legislators, Gov. Beshear, and other key state leaders in Frankfort on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. (EST) at Buffalo Trace Distillery. The Chamber is planning to charter a bus to take a Hopkins County delegation to the event.
